I've finally relocated!!! Time to say ahhhhh! I've been in Houston for a week now, still getting settled before I start work next Monday. I haven't had a lot of time to breathe with everything I've had to get done.
I arrived at the perfect time, the weather here has been beautiful! My girls are adjusting well, they are loving not having to wear their heavy winter coats! The two of them never cease to amaze me! I thought it would be a difficult transition for them, well not so much! They love their new school & teachers (I also love it) and are making new friends.
These are pictures of them playing at the park next door to our home :-)
My personal well being is pretty good, considering all of the changes. I haven't done a workout in a week but I've been ripping and running so much, I haven't gained any weight. Unfortunately I have been eating WAY too much fast food..smdh!
I've bought a skillet and pot to cook with until all of my stuff being shipped arrives. To be honest I'm sick of fast food and I've had enough to last me the rest of the year!
On another happy note, my honey is coming to see me in a couple of days, I'm excited! He helps keep me sane. With everything going on he continues to support and stand beside me. I really don't know what I would do without him? I never want to find out, that's for sure!
The brunt of my relocation list has been done, I only have a couple big things left to accomplish. My sights are now set on buying a home (enrolling in a first time home buyers program) which I'd like to do within two years. I work on my major goals in sections. First it was weight loss check, then the relocation check and now it's the house!
I'll be able to go online today (internet being installed as I write this) and attempt to do my first vlog. Not exactly sure what I'll talk about just yet, I think I've pretty much caught up everything with this post lol! Maybe I'll just do a little introduction piece?
Anyhoo, thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers for this transition! My girls and I are so very thankful!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the move! I'm so pleased things went well. I guess it's always a big relief knowing that your girls have settled in quickly. It means you won't have to worry so much and can focus on other things.
