Ok now you got me wanting to try a spin class. I've been thinking about giving it a try because I need to vary my exercise routine and I think spinning would give me the boost I need. So I take it my ass is gonna hurt to if I do this? LOL.
@Daisy start with a beginner class if you can. Make sure the instructor sets your bike up properly so that you're riding without overworking your knees. Don't try to keep up initially, ride at your comfort level!
Yo, that pain post-spin is REAL! My first encounter, left me walking extra funny, the next day. But, I heard (because my lady parts couldn't take it, either - so I chucked the deuces up) that after a while, experienced spinners find a personal rhythm and sitting style - to alleviate the discomfort. In the advanced classes, most don't even sit much, during rounds.
However, when I start it up again, I'm bringing a pillow, lol!
Glad you're enjoying it though. The cardio burn is ridic!
